Founded in 1966, Gansu Hailin Zhongke Science and Technology Co., Ltd. originated as a designated third-tier tapered roller bearing manufacturer under the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. With nearly six decades of dedicated focus on the R&D and production of tapered roller bearings, the company has built profound industrial expertise.

Hailin’s product lineup covers 176 series and over 5,000 specifications, encompassing the full range of metric series and 95% of imperial series. Annual production capacity exceeds 60 million sets. The company ranks among the industry’s top three in tapered roller bearing output and sales, and has claimed the top production position on multiple occasions.

As a key exporter of electromechanical products in Gansu Province, Hailin supplies customers across more than 30 countries and regions worldwide. Fortune Global 500 clients account for over 30% of its customer base. Annual export volume surpasses USD 50 million, making exports represent more than 50% of total revenue.

Tapered Roller Products

The tapered rollers manufactured by Hailin feature a unique crowned cavity design. Its core advantage lies in fully preserving the material flow lines and enhancing material density. This effectively avoids surface pitting and other defects on the rollers, delivering a smooth, refined surface finish while significantly boosting wear resistance and service life.Furthermore, the consistent precision of our products surpasses the Class II industry standard, achieving an outstanding balance of superior surface quality and reliable performance.

New Energy Vehicle Transmission Bearings

Bearings of this type are suitable for the high-speed and high-temperature operating conditions of new energy vehicle transmissions. They can withstand combined radial and axial loads simultaneously.Featuring low friction, low noise and high rigidity, these bearings adopt optimized profiles on inner and outer raceways as well as roller outer diameters to prevent stress concentration. With excellent wear and temperature resistance, they deliver stable and long-lasting support for the drive systems of new energy vehicles.

Carbonitrided Bearings

These carbonitrided bearings are developed to address key pain points including excessive wear, short service life and deformation during operation. Upgraded with specialized heat treatment processes, they deliver dependable transmission support for NEV electric drive axles, heavy-duty truck axles and other applications. The core advantages are as follows:Enhanced surface performance and extended service life: After carbonitriding treatment, the bearing rings achieve markedly improved surface hardness and wear resistance, cutting wear-related downtime and maintenance costs. Residual compressive stress raises the fatigue limit of steel while offering corrosion resistance. Suited for demanding operating conditions, the bearings require fewer replacements.Optimized forming accuracy for stable operation: Nitrogen improves the hardenability of the infiltrated layer, enabling low-temperature quenching and slow cooling to mitigate risks of deformation and cracking and guarantee dimensional precision. The material maintains excellent core toughness to withstand impact loads and supports continuous, stable equipment operation.

High-precision Pre-adjusted Bearings

Developed to tackle premature wear and cumbersome maintenance of wheel-end bearings for heavy-duty truck hubs, this high-precision pre-adjusted bearing centers on durability and ease of use to ensure stable equipment operation.Special tolerances are applied to the product height and outer diameter, delivering excellent interchangeability. No selection is required during replacement, and the preset axial clearance meets design requirements. The bearing can be put into service immediately after installation, greatly cutting assembly time and labor costs.Manufactured from premium bearing steel via precise processes including forging and salt bath quenching, the rings and rolling elements comply with Class P5 high-precision standards. They effectively extend the service life of hub assemblies and reduce downtime losses for smoother and more reliable operation.

High-speed Low-noise Tapered Roller Bearings

High-speed and low-noise bearings target the core requirements of high-speed operating equipment and provide reliable solutions. Optimized for smoother operation and lower noise, they feature improved rotational precision and controlled vibration performance. Refined contact geometry between rollers, ribs and raceways delivers excellent stability at high speeds, effectively reducing vibration and noise, improving working conditions and minimizing equipment wear.Meeting industrial demands for low maintenance and long service life, the optimized surface profile reduces stress concentration. This extends bearing service life, enhances continuous operational reliability, and lowers overall maintenance costs and downtime losses.

Shield Machine Cutterhead Bearings

These bearings are engineered for the extreme heavy-load operating conditions of shield machine cutterheads and capable of sustaining combined loads including radial forces, axial forces and overturning moments.Manufactured in extra-large dimensions with ultra-high precision, they feature high rigidity, outstanding reliability and extended service life. The optimized load-bearing structure ensures smooth startup, shutdown and steady rotation of the cutterhead, delivering core support for continuous and efficient tunneling operations.

Wind Turbine Yaw & Pitch Gearbox Bearings

These bearings are mainly applied to yaw and pitch gearboxes of wind turbines. They are capable of withstanding heavy radial and axial loads, as well as cyclic alternating impact loads.Featuring high load capacity, long service life and superior reliability, the bearings fully meet the stringent operating conditions and long-life service requirements of wind power gearboxes.

Technical advantages

    Hailin is equipped with complete CAD/CAPP design systems and can develop over 180 new products annually. Our R&D Center adopts a development model combining 3D CAD design and CAE simulation analysis. We operate an integrated R&D system incorporating external testing, in-house testing and customer road trials. Two self-developed platforms — the Parametric Bearing Navigation Design System and Intelligent Process Design System — enable rapid generation of design documentation for all types of bearings. New product development follows the lean PPQP management model, with data centrally managed via the PLM system. All product design and development activities are carried out in strict accordance with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) standards. We offer a wide range of competitive products for heavy-duty trucks, automotive transmissions, drive systems, construction machinery and agricultural machinery, delivering comprehensive bearing application solutions to customers.

    In recent years, the company has carried out R&D in the fields of high-precision long-life bearings, high-precision non-adjustable bearings, pre-adjusted maintenance-free truck wheel hub units, passenger car wheel hub units, low starting friction torque bearings, high-speed bearings for new energy vehicles, self-lubrication technology, intelligent monitoring technology, surface modification treatment technology, and carbonitriding technology. Meanwhile, the company has established industry-university-research-application cooperation with universities and research institutes, including Xi’an Jiaotong University, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Henan University of Science and Technology, Lanzhou University of Technology and Xi’an University of Technology.

Hailin signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lanzhou Institute of Physical Chemistry on “performance analysis and optimization of anti-rust oil and grinding fluid”.
